Clinical Perspective

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over a decade of clinical experience across inpatient, emergency, consultation-liaison, and outpatient psychiatric settings. My work emphasizes diagnostic clarity, careful interpretation of medication response, and a comprehensive understanding of how treatment trajectories evolve over time. I focus particularly on patients who have undergone multiple treatments without achieving sustained improvement, helping to bring structure and coherence to care that has felt fragmented or ineffective.
Why I Specialize in Complex Cases

Over years of clinical practice, I repeatedly observed patients being rushed through brief medication visits, often resulting in fragmented treatment plans, unnecessary polypharmacy, or incomplete diagnostic clarity. These experiences reinforced a central clinical truth: treatment-resistant conditions rarely reflect patient failure—they reflect the need for deeper analysis.

Harmonia was founded to provide the level of investigative, structured psychiatric care that complex cases require. Rather than relying on reflexive prescribing or one-size-fits-all protocols, I focus on clarifying diagnoses, identifying contributing factors, and systematically refining treatment strategies. This work requires curiosity, clinical discipline, and a willingness to revisit assumptions—qualities that define my practice.
